Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained California Orthopedic Surgeon

A Southern California native, Dr. Hobson began his academic journey at UCLA, earning a B.S. in Physiological Sciences while competing as a member of the Varsity Men’s Track and Field team. He remained in Los Angeles for his graduate training, simultaneously pursuing an M.D. at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and an M.B.A. at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

His orthopedic surgery residency took him to the University of Utah, after which he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. Throughout his fellowship year, he gained extensive experience caring for professional athletes as team physician for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, the USFL’s New Jersey Generals and Pittsburgh Maulers, and the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hobson enjoys an active lifestyle that includes regular workouts, basketball, golf, and traveling.
